Sharing the Lessons Learned in Participatory Research

The Outwith Field Guides Series provides a pathway for our team at the Library along with their collaborators (our “Partners in Paricipation”) to communicate the lessons we learn through our work in involvement.
The guides are intended to capture this knowledge and communicate it in a nonprescriptive, discipline agnostic way. Whether a project is citizen science or Public and Patient Involvement, many of the challenges remain the same. The guides therefore draw from real experience; whether through case study or co-production; they embrace the messy complexity inherent within any form of involved research practices.
