In this short piece, Brian Schultis reflects on an experience of walking carrying a gold thread with four others in Aberdeen in Spring, 2014. Schultis first remembers the experience and then speculates at a possible theoretical interpretation. Following Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, he describes the event becoming a component of a haecceity, and suggests that the embodied memory of such and individuation may be a way of thinking about intimacy.Downloads
