Abstract

A note from the Editor-in-Chief

Author Biography

John J Park, Editor-in-Chief

I am the Editor-in-Chief of the Res Medica.

My role is to make the Res Medica one of the most accessible platforms for medical students to publish, share and read their academic research and viewpoints.

I am therefore incredibly privileged to work with a team of fantastic medical students and doctors. The Editorial Team is a lively and diverse group, ranging from all years, ages and backgrounds in medicine. There are over 60 students and over 50 clinicians and academics, including those in training, involved in the editing and peer review process. We also organise student reviewer training sessions.

I’d love to hear from you about how better we can use the Res Medica to develop student interest in academic writing. Interesting projects and fun ideas which you feel might be worth writing up as an academic piece are the most welcome.
