Call for Peer Reviewers
For our upcoming 37th issue, FORUM is opening its peer review process beyond members of the editorial board to include our broader academic community.
We are looking for expressions of interest from postgraduate and early career researchers within the LLC at the University of Edinburgh who are interested in being contacted to conduct peer reviews of relevant articles.
This is a great opportunity if you were unable to commit to being an editor but are interested in developing your academic skills, boosting your CV and supporting your academic community.
Peer review typically takes place around April and May.
If you are interested in being contacted about conducting a peer review for us then please contact us at forum.journal@ed.ac.uk let us know your preferred contact details and 3-5 keywords to describe your areas of expertise.
This is only an expression of interest and not a guarantee that you will be asked to do a peer review. Whether or not you are asked to peer review depends on whether we receive any articles that fit your expertise. If we receive submissions that we believe are relevant to your expertise then we will contact you to request a peer review.
There is no end-date, we are open to expressions of interest throughout the year.
If you have any questions about the peer review process or the reasoning behind this decision then please get in touch at the email address above.
We look forward to hearing from you!
