ABCC subfamily (version 2019.4) in the IUPHAR/BPS Guide to Pharmacology Database
Subfamily ABCC contains thirteen members and nine of these transporters are referred to as the Multidrug Resistance Proteins (MRPs). The MRP proteins are found throughout nature and they mediate many important functions. They are known to be involved in ion transport, toxin secretion, and signal transduction .
